Poor running during engine warm-up
To overcome a slight hesitation during the warm-up period at temperatures below 63~F, a new temperature switch part number 027919369B with a temperature range of 17~C - 45~C (63~F - 113~F) can be installed. The switch is installed in production starting with VIN Numbers:
Golf 17HV032000 Jetta 16HV530579 Cabriolet 15HK015532 Scirocco 53HK015797
The switch activates the cold running enrichment function during warm-up, at coolant temperatures below 63~F (17~C). A slight hesitation may remain at unfavorable temperature combinations due to the coolant temperature sensor not being reset (going below 63~F).
