013 Transmission Code

1. Disconnect the battery ground strap.
2. Remove upper engine/transmission bolts.
3. Disconnect speedometer cable.

Disconnecting Clutch Cable:

4. Disconnect clutch cable from clutch pedal (arrow).
5. Remove front exhaust pipe on manifold.

Engine Stop Bolts:

6. Remove engine stop bolts (arrow).
7. Remove front muffler and exhaust pipe.
8. Disconnect driveshafts at transmission.
9. Disconnect back up light wiring at transmission.

Cover Plate Bolts:

10. Remove cover plate bolts (arrows).
11. Remove starter bolt (upper arrow).

Shift Rod Coupling Bolt:

12. Remove shift rod coupling bolt (arrow).
13. Pry off shift rod coupling ball.
14. Pull off shift rod coupling from shift rod.

Removing Transmission:

15. Position transmission lift under transmission and lift slightly.

Transmission Support:

16. Loosen bolt "1".
17. Remove bolt "2".
18. Pivot transmission support to rear.
19. Remove rubber mount "3".

Front Bracket Bolts:

20. Remove front bracket bolts (arrows).
21. Remove lower engine/transmission bolts.
22. Pry transmission away from engine.
23. Lower transmission carefully and remove transmission.
