Removal & Installation: Removal: Notes

Remove steering wheel. Turn ignition to "ON" (if equipped with column lock). Remove circlip for column housing rubber bushing. Remove cover plate (under pedals). Lift column housing, disconnect horn wire and bend lock plate tab. Unbolt coupling flange and remove steering gear, see appropriate article under STEERING GEARS & LINKAGE in this section.  Pull steering column out and downward from vehicle.
