DTC U3000-42: Control Module general memory failure: Procedure
- VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS NAVIGATION RECEIVER DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY
- Clear the DTC for the navigation receiver using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
Body Electrical > Connectivity Master Unit > Clear DTCs
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 7 s or more.
- Retrieve the navigation receiver DTCs using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
Body Electrical > Connectivity Master Unit > Trouble Codes
- Is the same DTC displayed?
Result:
Yes

- Clear the DTC for the navigation receiver using the Techstream.
- VERIFY IF OTHER DTCS DISPLAYED
- Are any other DTCs displayed?
Result:
No
DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED.
Result:
Yes
REPAIR OR REPLACE THE MALFUNCTIONING PART ACCORDING TO THE APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING.
- Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
- REPLACE THE NAVIGATION RECEIVER.
- Refer to REMOVAL
