Inspection Procedure

CHECK DTC
1. Clear DTC (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
3. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.
4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
5. Turn the ignition switch ON.
6. Check DTC.
  OK: P060D is not present.
  
  NG: REPLACE ECM (See REMOVAL )
  
  OK: CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (See BASIC INSPECTION )
