Charging System (2AR-FE): Generator: Installation

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the generator with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 52 N*m (530 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf)

2. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
3. Connect the generator wire with the nut.
  Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf)
4. Install the terminal cap.
5. Connect the generator connector.

INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
1. Install the clamp bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
2. Attach the wire harness clamp to the clamp bracket.
INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
1. Install the belt (See INSTALLATION ).
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
