Section 61 (Air Conditioning (Service Information)): Compressor: Reassembly: Reassembly

  1. INSTALL MAGNETIC CLUTCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Matching the parts shown in the illustration, install the magnetic clutch stator.

    2. Using a snap ring expander, install a new snap ring with the chamfered side facing up.

    3. Connect the connector.
    4. Using a snap ring expander, install the magnetic clutch rotor and a new snap ring with the chamfered side facing up.

    5. Install the magnetic clutch washer and magnetic clutch hub.
      NOTE:

      Do not change the combination of the magnetic clutch washer used before disassembly.

    6. Using vise pliers, hold the magnetic clutch hub and install the bolt.

      Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
