Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER AND NAVIGATION ECU)

    1. Disconnect the F27 and F30 display connectors.
    2. Disconnect the F18 amplifier connector.
    3. Disconnect the F32 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance 

    RESISTANCE REFERENCE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    F27-21 (IVO-) - F18-14 (111-) Always Below 1 Ω
    F27-22 (IVO+) - F18-15 (111+) Always Below 1 Ω
    F30-10 (SI-) - F32-8 (VOI-) Always Below 1 Ω
    F30-11 (SI+) - F32-9 (VOI+) Always Below 1 Ω
    F27-21 (IVO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    F27-22 (IVO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    F30-10 (SI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    F30-11 (SI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
