July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. CHECK ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the voltage.
      1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      3. Turn the Techstream main switch on.
      4. Select the menu items: Powertrain/Engine/Data List/Accel Sensor Out No. 1, Accel Sensor Out No. 2.
      5. Operate the accelerator pedal assembly, and then check that the Accelerator Position No. 1 and Accelerator Position No. 2 values are within the specifications.

        Standard Voltage (Accel Sensor Out No. 1) 

        ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY CONDITION CHART

        Accelerator Pedal Assembly Condition Specified Condition
        Released 0.5 to 1.1 V
        Depressed 2.6 to 4.5 V

        Standard Voltage (Accel Sensor Out No. 2) 

        ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY CONDITION CHART

        Accelerator Pedal Assembly Condition Specified Condition
        Released 1.2 to 2.0 V
        Depressed 3.4 to 4.98 V

        If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal assembly, wire harness or ECM.
