Removal








CRUISE CONTROL: CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment Service Precautions.
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal
3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal
4. REMOVE STEERING PAD Removal
5. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH





(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Disconnect the connector.





(c) Remove the cruise control main switch as shown in the illustration.
