Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT NAVIGATION ECU
- Disconnect the navigation ECU connector L16.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester connection Condition Specified condition REV - Body ground Ignition switch is on (IG). Shift lever is moved to R position. 10 to 14 V REV - Body ground Ignition switch is on (IG). Shift lever is moved to any position except R. Below 1 V
OK : REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
NG: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - PARK/ NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)
- Disconnect the navigation ECU connector L16 and park / neutral position switch connector B13.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester connection Condition Specified condition REV - B13-2 Always Below 1 Ω REV - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

OK: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
- Disconnect the park / neutral position switch connector B13.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester connection Condition Specified condition B13-1 - B13-2 Shift lever is moved to R position. Below 1 Ω B13-1 - B13-2 Shift lever is moved to any position except R. 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPLACE PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
