Inspection Procedure

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING Techstream
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Turn the Techstream main switch on.
- Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
- Check the CRUISE main indicator light by performing the ACTIVE TEST.
Combination meter:
COMBINATION METERTester Display Test Part Control Range Normal Condition CRUISE INDIC CRUISE main indicator light Indicator light BLINK / OFF - OK:
Indicator light comes on/goes off.
NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to next step
- READ VALUE ON Techstream
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Turn the Techstream main switch on.
- Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the CRUISE main indicator light.
ECM (Cruise control):

OFF: "CRUISE" off- OK:
When the cruise control main switch is operated, the display changes as shown above.
NG: REPLACE ECM
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
