Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK CASSETTE TAPE 
    1. Check that the cassette tape is normal tape for recording sounds.

      OK: Cassette tape is normal. 

    • NG: CASSETTE TAPE FAULTY 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Is radio operating normally?
    • OK: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 
    • NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SPEAKER - STEREO AMPLIFIER) 
    • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  4. REPLACE SPEAKER 
    1. Temporarily install another speaker. Function OK?
    • OK: SPEAKER FAULTY 
    • NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  5. CHECK NOISE 
    1. Is hiss noise from speaker?

      OK: Hiss noise is not from speaker. 

    • OK: REPLACE STEREO AMPLIFIER (RECHECK SYSTEM AFTER REPLACEMENT) 
    • NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
