Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK COMPRESSOR LOCK SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the A5 compressor connector.
    2. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the compressor lock sensor connector.

      Standard resistance: 65 to 125 Ω at 20°C (68°F) 

    NG: REPLACE COMPRESSOR

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - COMPRESSOR LOCK SENSOR) 

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (COMPRESSOR LOCK SENSOR - BODY GROUND) 

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER
