Fuel Pressure Regulator: Removal
- DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE (See REMOVAL
)
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER (See REMOVAL
)
- REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
- Disconnect the vacuum sensing hose from the pressure regulator.

- Disconnect the fuel return hose from the pressure regulator.

NOTE:
Put a cloth or equivalent under the pressure regulator.
- Remove the 2 bolts, and pull out the pressure regulator.
- Remove the O-ring from the pressure regulator.
