Knock Sensor: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY (See appropriate step(s) under REMOVAL
).
- REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD (See appropriate step(s) under REMOVAL
).
- REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR
- Disconnect the 2 sensor connectors.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 sensors.
