July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Inspection Procedure

  1. READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER
    1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON and push the hand-held tester main switch ON.
    3. Select the item "CANCEL SW, SET/COAST SW, RES/ACC SW, MAIN SW" in the DATA LIST and read its value displayed on the hand-held tester.

    OK:

Cruise main switch (Sub CPU) MAIN SW (SUB) ON - OFF
Cruise main switch (Main CPU) MAIN SW (MAIN) ON - OFF

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

    NG: Go to next step

  2. INSPECT ECM (CCS)
    1. Remove ECM with the connector.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Measure the voltage between terminal CCS of ECM connector and body ground when each of the SET/-, RES/+ and CANCEL is turned ON.
