Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR LH (POWER SOURCE VOLTAGE) 
    1. Disconnect the P15 regulator switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P15-4 - Body ground Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B ASSY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH) 
    2. OK 
  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR LH (SEE  INSPECTION   ) 
    1. NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR LH 
    2. OK 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR LH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY REAR LH) 
    1. Disconnect the P15 switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the P20 motor connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      P15-1-P20-1 Below 1 Ω
      P15-3-P20-2 Below 1 Ω
      P15-1 or P20-1 - Body ground 10kΩ or higher
      P15-3 or P20-2 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK 
  4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY REAR LH (SEE  INSPECTION   ) 
    1. NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR 
    2. OK 
  5. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR LH) 
    1. Disconnect the P17 master switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the P15 switch connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      P17-12 (RLU)-P15-5 Below 1 Ω
      P17-10 (RLD)-P15-2 Below 1 Ω
      P17-12 (RLU) or P15-5- Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      P17-10 (RLD) or P15-2 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK 

      REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY
