Inspection Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Toyota Tundra and 2005 Toyota Tundra. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Check taillights operation. 

    CHECK: 

    Check that the taillights light up when the light control switch is turned to TAIL.

    1. NG : Check  HEADLIGHT AND TAILLIGHT SYSTEM  . 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check harness and connector between TVIP ECU and integration relay (driver side J/B). 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Disconnect the T11 TVIP ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the 1N or 1L driver side J/B connector.

    CHECK: 

    Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

    OK:

    1. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Replace TVIP ECU with normal one. 
    1. NG : Replace driver side J/B. 
    2. OK : Replace TVIP ECU.
