Inspection Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Toyota Tundra and 2005 Toyota Tundra. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Check interior light operation. 

    CHECK: 

    Check the interior light lights up when the door is open.

    1. NG : Check  INTERIOR LIGHT SYSTEM (EXCEPT DOUBLE CAB)  . 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check harness and connector between TVIP ECU and interior light. 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Disconnect the T13 TVIP ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the I26 interior light connector.

    CHECK: 

    Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

    OK: 

    TVIP ECU AND INTERIOR LIGHT

    Symbols (Terminal No.)
    (TVIP ECU <-> Interior Light)    		 Specified Condition
    DMLP (T13-6) <-> - (I26-1) Continuity
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Replace TVIP ECU.
