Inspection Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Toyota Tundra and 2005 Toyota Tundra. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Inspect POWER and J/B M-fuses and ECU-B fuse. 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Remove the M-fuses from the engine room relay block and driver side J/B.
    2. Remove the fuse from the engine room relay block.

    CHECK: 

    Check the continuity.

    OK: 

    Continuity 

    1. NG : Replace M-fuse and/or fuse. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check voltage between terminals +B1, +B2 and E1 of TVIP ECU. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Disconnect the T11 and T12 TVIP ECU connectors.

    CHECK: 

    Check the voltage between the wire harness side connectors.

    OK:

    1. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Replace TVIP ECU.
