Inspection Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Toyota Tundra and 2005 Toyota Tundra. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Check power door lock control system operation. 

    CHECK: 

    Check that the power door lock control system is operating normally.

    1. NG : Check power door lock control system (see  LOCATION  ). 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check harness and connector between TVIP ECU and unlock detection switch. 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Disconnect the T12 TVIP ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the D25 or D26 door unlock detection switch connector.

    CHECK: 

    Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

    OK:

    1. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Replace TVIP ECU.
