Section 971 (Power Liftgate System): Latch: Installation

  1. Engage link and place latch in position on vehicle (Figure ).
  2. Install screws attaching latch to liftgate. Tighten screws to 11 N.m (95 in. lbs.) torque.
  3. Connect wire connector to liftgate latch.
  4. Verify liftgate fit and operation. Adjust as necessary.
  5. Install liftgate trim panel.
