Inspection Procedure

INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY FRONT LH

Connect 3 batteries (1.5 V) in series.
Connect the battery positive terminal to terminal SHB, and the negative one to terminal SHG to apply the voltage of 4.5 V between terminals SHB and SHG.
While slowly move the link up and down with the voltage being applied, check the voltage between terminals SHFL and SHG.

NG: REPLACE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY FRONT LH
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
1. Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between headlamp leveling ECU and height control sensor.
1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
2. OK: REPLACE HEADLAMP LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY
