Component Function Check

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Nissan Armada. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: Before performing the diagnosis, check that the following is normal.
  • Battery saver output/power supply
  • Front step lamp bulbs
  • Rear step lamp bulbs
  • Foot lamp bulbs (if equipped)
  1. CHECK STEP LAMP OPERATION 

    WITH CONSULT

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Select "STEP LAMP TEST" of BCM (INT LAMP) active test item.
    3. While operating the test item, check that the front step lamps, rear step lamps and foot lamps (if equipped) turn ON/OFF.

      ON: Step lamp ON 

      OFF: Step lamp OFF 

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: Step lamp circuit is normal.

      NO: Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
