Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Nissan Armada. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: If possible, before removing BCM, retrieve current BCM configuration to use for reference when configuring brand-new BCM after installation. Refer to "CONFIGURATION (BCM): DESCRIPTION ".
  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to "HOW TO HANDLE BATTERY ".
  2. Remove the lower knee protector. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  3. Remove the screw and release the BCM.
  4. Disconnect the BCM harness connectors.
  5. Remove the BCM.
