Throttle Body (2ZZ-GE): Installation

  1. INSTAL THROTTLE BODY 
    1. Install a new gasket on the intake manifold with the 4 bolts.
      • Torque: 22 N.m (220 kgf.cm, 16ft.lbf) 
    2. Install the throttle body with the 4 nuts.
      • Torque: 22 N. m (220 kgf.cm, 16ft.lbf) 
  2. CONNECT 2 WATER BYPASS HOSES 

    Connect the 2 water bypass hoses with the clips.

  3. CONNECT PCV HOSE 

    Connect the PCV hose with the clip.

  4. INSTALL THROTTLE BRACKET 

    Install the throttle bracket with the 2 bolts.

  5. CONNECT THROTTLE BODY WIRE HARNESS CLAMP 

    Connect the throttle body wire harness clamp with the bolt to the throttle body.

    • Torque: 5.0 N. m (51 kgf.cm, 44in..lbf)

  6. CONNECT THROTTLE BODY CONNECTOR 

    Connect the throttle body connector.

  7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE AND CAP WITH MAF METER

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER 
  9. FILL RADIATOR WITH ENGINE COOLANT 
  10. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
