Inspection Procedure

- Check voltage between terminals IG and GND of A/C control assembly connector.
- PREPARATION:
- Remove A/C control assembly with connectors still connected, see AIR CONDITIONING .
- Turn ignition switch to ON.
- CHECK:
- Measure voltage between terminals IG and GND of A/C control assembly.
- OK:
- Voltage : 10 - 14 V
- OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table, see PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
- NG: Go to next step.
- PREPARATION:
- Check continuity between terminal GND of A/C control assembly and body ground.
- PREPARATION:
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK.
- CHECK:
- Measure resistance between terminal GND of A/C control assembly and body ground.
- OK:
- Resistance : Below 1 ohm
- NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
- OK: Go to next step.
- Check GAUGE fuse.
- PREPARATION:
- Remove GAUGE fuse from No. 1 J/B.
- CHECK:
- Check continuity of GAUGE fuse.
- OK:
- Continuity exists.
- NG: Check for shot in all the harness and components connected to the GAUGE fuse, see INTRODUCTION .
- OK: Check and repair harness and connector between A/C control assembly and battery.
