Stoplight Switch
- Disconnect stoplight switch harness connector. Check continuity between stoplight switch terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1. Continuity should exist when brake pedal is depressed. Continuity should not exist when brake pedal is released.
- Check continuity between terminals No. 3 and 4. Continuity should exist when brake pedal is released. Continuity should not exist when brake pedal is depressed.
- If continuity is as specified, stoplight switch is okay. Replace stoplight switch if continuity is not as specified.
