Diagnostic Procedure

If Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is illuminated, an engine driveability malfunction exists. Retrieve DTCs for engine driveability malfunction. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If DTC(s) is present, perform appropriate procedure to repair malfunction.
