Fuel Pulsation Damper: Removal
- Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Ensure negative battery cable is disconnected.
- Remove starter for access to fuel pulsation damper. Fuel pulsation damper is mounted on fuel delivery pipe, just above the starter. See Figure.
- Remove fuel pulsation damper. Note sizes of gaskets located between fuel delivery pipe. See Figure. Remove gaskets.
