RPM Signal

Crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensors deliver input signals to Engine Control Module (ECM) to indicate crankshaft position and camshaft position. Camshaft position input signal is delivered to ECM terminal "G" and crankshaft position sensor engine RPM input signal is delivered to ECM terminal NE. The ECM uses input signals for controlling fuel injection system, ignition timing (spark advance), fuel pressure control system and heated oxygen sensor system.
