Door Open Detection Switch

Remove door trim and door lock assembly. Locate and disconnect 6-pin door lock motor switch connector. Open door (switch pin released) and ensure continuity exists between 6-pin connector terminals No. 3 (White/Red wire) and No. 6 (White/Black wire). Close door (switch pin depressed) and ensure no continuity exists between terminals No. 3 and No. 6. If continuity is not as specified, replace door lock assembly.
