Circuit Opening Relay Test

To check circuit opening relay, See Fig 1 & 13. Circuit opening relay is located behind center of dash. See Figure. Replace relay if defective.

NOTE: During cranking, there should be 12 volts present at "FP" terminal of circuit opening relay. This is the fuel pump (or fuel pump relay) line. See WIRING DIAGRAMS for wire color.
