Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Adjustment
- Loosen 2 TPS retaining screws. Insert a thickness gauge between throttle stop screw and throttle. With ignition off and electrical connector disconnected, connect ohmmeter between terminals IDL and E2. See Fig 1.

- Gradually turn TPS counterclockwise until ohmmeter needle deflects. Secure TPS retaining screws. Using a thickness gauge, recheck the continuity between terminals IDL - E2.
