Subframe Assembly - Front (3rd Generation) - Remove And Replace: Installation

  1. With an assistant, install the new front subframe assembly onto the powertrain table.
  2. Install the steering rack onto the front subframe assembly.
  3. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the steering rack to the front subframe assembly (torque 175 N.m).

  4. Install the front stabilizer bar assembly onto the front subframe assembly.

  5. Install the battery pump 2 bracket onto the front subframe assembly, and then install the bolt that attaches the bracket to the subframe (torque 12 N.m).

  6. Install the 3rd generation front subframe assembly. See SUBFRAME ASSEMBLY - FRONT (3RD GENERATION) (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
