DTC Clearance
WARNING:
If you do not select a suitable route and take proper precautions when performing a road test, an accident can occur.
- Select a level road with no traffic to minimize the risk of accident.
- Perform the test extremely carefully.
- Perform the road test using 2 persons, a driver and an assistant.
After repair or replacement of malfunctioning part(s), clear all DTCs by performing the following procedure or using SUZUKI scan tool.
- Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC in the same manner as when making this connection for DTC check.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position.
- Erase DTC according to instructions displayed on scan tool. Refer to SUZUKI scan tool operators manual for further details.
- After completing the clearance, turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect SUZUKI scan tool from DLC.
- Perform "DRIVING TEST " (Step 2 of ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM CHECK ) and DTC Check and confirm that NO DTC is displayed on SUZUKI scan tool.
