Manual Transaxle Oil Change

Hoist vehicle horizontally.
Remove left side engine undercover.
Remove transaxle oil level/filler plug (2) and gasket.
Remove transaxle oil drain plug (1) and gasket, and drain oil.
Install transaxle oil drain plug (1) with new gasket, and then tighten it to specified torque.
Tightening torque

Transaxle oil drain plug (a): 35 N.m (3.6 kg-m, 26.0 lbf-ft)
Pour new specified oil until a little oil flows from oil level/filler plug hole (3).
NOTE: It is highly recommended to use "SUZUKI GEAR OIL 75W-80".

: SUZUKI GEAR OIL 99000-22B21-036

: API GL-4 (For SAE classification, refer to viscosity chart Fig 2 in figure.)

Manual transaxle oil capacity

Reference: 2.5 liters (5.28/4.40 US/lmp. pt.)
Install transaxle oil level/filler plug with new gasket, and then tighten it to specified torque.
Tightening torque

Transaxle oil level/filler plug (b): 27 N.m (2.8 kg-m, 20.0 lbf-ft)
