Suspension Arm Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Hoist vehicle and remove front wheel on the side concerned, see WHEEL (WITH TIRE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove front brake caliper and front brake rotor, see FRONT BRAKE DISC REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove tie-rod end, see TIE-ROD END REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove clip (2) and suspension arm joint nut (1).

  5. Remove drive shaft nut, then remove front drive shaft (1), see FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Remove steering knuckle (3) from suspension arm ball joint (2) using ball joint remover (4).

  7. Remove suspension arm bolts (1) and suspension arm nut (2), then remove suspension arm (3).
