Front Stabilizer Bar/Front Stabilizer Bar Joint Removal and Installation: Installation

  1. Install each front stabilizer bar mount (3) to front stabilizer bar (1) with inside end fitted against ring (2) on stabilizer bar.

  2. Install each front stabilizer mount bracket (1) with true-circle-hole end toward front.

    Tighten the bolt for true-circle-hole end (2) first and the bolt for long-hole end (3) next, both to specified torque.

    Tightening torque 

    Front stabilizer mount bracket bolt (a): 33 N.m (3.4 kg-m, 24.5 lbf-ft)

  3. Install front suspension frame, see FRONT SUSPENSION FRAME REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Hold the ball stud of front stabilizer bar joint (1) using hexagon wrench and tighten front stabilizer bar joint nut to specified torque to install front stabilizer bar joint.

    Tightening torque 

    Front stabilizer bar joint nut (a): 55 N.m (5.6 kg-m, 40.5 lbf-ft)
