Front Seat Belt Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: FRONT SEAT BELT INSPECTION 

Reverse removal procedure, noting the following points.

• Check that pins (3) on body are inserted in long holes (2) on retractor pretensioner (1).

• Tighten bolts and screw of front seat belt in the numerical order to specified torque, see FRONT SEAT BELT COMPONENTS .
• Connect connector (2) to retractor pretensioner (1) as follows.
  1. Connect connector (2) to retractor pretensioner with lock (3) released.
  2. Press lock button (3) to lock connector securely.

• Connect connector (1) to lap pretensioner (2) as follows.
  1. Connect connector (1) to retractor pretensioner with lock (3) released.
  2. Press lock button (3) to lock connector securely.
• Install lap pretensioner connector cover (4).

• Enable air bag system, see ENABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
