Front Side Air Bag (Inflator) Module Inspection

WARNING: Failure to take proper precautions when inspecting the front side air bag (inflator) module can result in personal injury due to accidental deployment of the air bag. Never attempt to measure the resistance of the air bag (inflator) module.

Check air bag (inflator) module and if any of the following condition is found, replace air bag (inflator) module with new one.

• Air bag being deployed.
• Air bag (inflator) module is damaged or a strong impact was applied to it.
• Connector being damaged.
• Bend or deformity of air bag (inflator) module bracket.
