DTC Clearance

  1. Confirm ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
  2. Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC (1) located on underside of instrument panel at driver's seat side.

    Special Tool 

    1. SUZUKI scan tool (SUZUKI-SDT)

  3. Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
  4. Erase DTC according to instructions displayed on SUZUKI scan tool. Refer to SUZUKI scan tool operators manual further details.
  5. Perform DTC CHECK  and confirm that normal DTC (NO CODES) is displayed and not malfunction DTC after completing clearance.
  6. Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF", and disconnect SUZUKI scan tool from DLC.
    NOTE: If DTC B1013, B1021, B1024 or B1025, B1026, B1028, B1029, B1220 or DTC B1221 is stored in SDM, it is not possible to clear DTC.
