HVAC Control Module Removal and Installation: Removal

1. Release tabs (1) and claws (2) of auto A/C panel (3).
   CAUTION: If you try to release the upper side of the auto A/C panel first, the tabs of the panel may break. When removing the auto A/C panel, release the lower side of the panel first.
2. Disconnect connector and remove auto A/C panel.

3. Remove audio unit, see AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Remove screws (1), and then disconnect connector from HVAC control module (2).
5. Remove HVAC control module from steering support member.
