Control Rod Removal and Installation: Removal

- Hoist vehicle and remove rear wheels, see WHEEL (WITH TIRE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Support lower arm with jack.
- Put matchmark (3) across adjustment washer (1) and rear suspension frame (2).
- Remove control rod lock nut (4), adjustment washer, control rod adjustment bolt (5), control rod nut (6) and control rod bolt (7).
- Remove control rod (8).
