Condition Possible Cause Action
Undercharged battery  Worn or damage accessory drive belt Replace accessory drive belt  , see Accessory Drive Belt Removal and Installation .
Faulty one way clutch pulley Replace one way clutch pulley  , see Generator Disassembly and Reassembly .
Loosen or corroded battery terminals Tighten battery terminals or replace battery  , see Battery Removal and Installation .
Faulty rectifier, rotor or IC regulator Repair or replace generator  , see Generator Disassembly and Reassembly .
Overcharged battery  Faulty IC regulator Repair or replace generator  , see Generator Disassembly and Reassembly .
