Clearance Between Armature Plate and Magnet Clutch Inspection

Check clearance "a" between armature plate (2) and magnet clutch pulley (3) using feeler gauge (1).
If check result is not as specified, adjust clearance by putting shim(s) on A/C compressor shaft.
Standard clearance between armature plate and magnet clutch

"a": 0.3 - 0.6 mm (0.002 - 0.024 in.)
