DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
Scan tool parameter check 
  1. Check "Cabin Temperature" using "Data list" mode on SUZUKI scan tool, see Scan Tool Data .

Is temperature below -40 °C (-40 °F)? 
Go to Step 2. Intermittent trouble.
Inside air temperature sensor signal circuit check 
  1. Disconnect inside air temperature sensor connector.
  2. Connect "LT GRN/RED" and "LT GRN/BLK" wire terminals of inside air temperature sensor connector using service wire.
  3. Check "Cabin Temperature" using "Data list" mode on SUZUKI scan tool.

Is temperature below -40 °C (-40 °F)? 
Go to Step 3. Replace inside air temperature sensor.
Inside air temperature sensor signal circuit check 
  1. Connect "LT GRN/RED" and "LT GRN/BLK" wire terminals of "G20" connector using service wire.
  2. Check "Cabin Temperature" using "Data list" mode on SUZUKI scan tool.

Is temperature below -40 °C (-40 °F)? 
Replace HVAC control module and recheck DTC. "LT GRN/RED" or "LT GRN/BLK" wire open.
