DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC detecting condition Trouble area
P0500: Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" 
This DTC is detected if any one of the following conditions is met.
  • VSS is lower than 2 km/h (1.2 mile/h) for 4 sec. when engine revolution is lower than 3,600 rpm at fuel cut (M/T model and CVT model).
  • VSS is lower than 2 km/h (1.2 mile/h) for 4 sec. when engine revolution is 3,700 rpm or more at D-range (CVT model).

  • CAN communication line
  • Wheel speed sensor
  • ESP® control module
  • ECM
