DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC detecting condition	Trouble area
P0480: Fan 1 Control Circuit This DTC is detected if any one of the following conditions is met. Monitor signal of radiator cooling fan relay No. 1 drive circuit is higher than specified value for 5 sec. even though command signal of radiator cooling fan is not OFF. Monitor signal of radiator cooling fan relay No. 1 drive circuit is lower than specified value for 5 sec. even though command signal of radiator cooling fan is OFF. (2 D/C detection logic but MIL does not light up)	Radiator cooling fan relay No. 1 (coil side) and/or its circuit ECM

This DTC is detected if any one of the following conditions is met.

Monitor signal of radiator cooling fan relay No. 1 drive circuit is higher than specified value for 5 sec. even though command signal of radiator cooling fan is not OFF.
Monitor signal of radiator cooling fan relay No. 1 drive circuit is lower than specified value for 5 sec. even though command signal of radiator cooling fan is OFF.

(2 D/C detection logic but MIL does not light up)
